BBC Radio Broadcasts Live in University Chapel

Mo Darts Returns to 601
601 felt more like Ally Pally on Saturday night. With a pair of lobsters, two men dressed in Lederhosen, and many more, everyone embraced the spirit of the darts. Alice Nicholson and her partner, the lobsters in question, deservedly won best dressed.
Division Two's Dramatic Final Day
Men used to go to war. Now they fight for promotion to the top flight of the St Andrews Sunday League. I’d like to say there are bigger days in my calendar than the final matchday of the season, but there really aren’t. With DLL, Real Sosobad and the imperious BLFC all competing for the automatic promotion and play-off spots, it was time to see who would rise above the rest.


A Swim in the North Sea
It was 7:45am when I met the St Andrews Wild Swimming Society for the first time. I stood on West Sands Beach, shivering and shielding my eyes against the gritty wind. The beach was deserted except for two figures who I thought were seals, but who turned out to be paddleboarders.
