Netball Club raise a smile

ST ANDREWS Netball Club hands over the £1,000 they raised for Disability Sport Fife (DSF), mainly through sales of the AU:STRIPPED calendar last semester.

The money is helping fund the participation of two young athletes from Fife in the Special Olympics World Summer Games in Athens this June.
Caitlin Dodds (golf) and Owen Miller (track & field) will be in Team GB, joining 7,500 other competitors from 185 countries.

The Saint spoke to Richard Brickley, President of DSF, who said he was “thrilled to bits” that Dodds and Miller had been rewarded for their commitment to their respective sports, and looked forward to providing opportunities for more young people in the future, especially with the help of teams like the University Netball Club.
