This academic year, the University of St Andrews decided to publish Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion Reports. As part of the reporting programme, it released a report on “Staff equality, diversity and inclusion."

Ethnicity pay gap report 2019

The recent ethnicity pay gap report published by the University of St Andrews highlights the difference in earnings between staff who identify as Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic and those who identify as white. The results show that the mean hourly rate for BAME staff is 5.5% lower than that of white staff whilst the median hourly rate is 9% higher.

Student equality, diversity, and inclusion report 2019

One of four newly published reports by the University of St Andrews, the Student Equality and Diversity Report 2019 outlines performance indicators related to disability, ethnicity, and gender of the student body. Specifically, this report outlines categories of student population, student attainment or the percentage of students who achieve an Upper degree (First or 2.1), and student retention.
