Battling torrid conditions on a miserable Wednesday afternoon, the Men’s rugby 1st XV continued their winning streak in BUCS 1A in their 31-10 defeat of Glasgow University. With four tries, four conversions and 1 penalty the team dominated affairs and the forwards’ strength in the scrum was attributed to their success. The team retain second position in the league, three points behind an Aberdeen side who have one game in hand. The rugby team are poised to strike; their next game on the 5 November against the University of Strathclyde is the perfect opportunity to maintain their current form and continue their momentum in their quest to achieve the top spot.
